Abilene Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab

Committed to our staff, our patients, and the Kansas towns we serve.

Tonya Mills opened this clinic in 2005. Dr. Taci Wilson has owned it since January 2026. In between, a team of 10 grew up around it: licensed physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, a physical therapy aide, front office and billing, working across our Abilene and Chapman clinics. Our therapists carry 9 to 20 years of clinical experience each. You will see the same faces at every visit, at either location, and they will know your name before you have finished parking.

What We Stand For

Three commitments behind every plan of care.

Staff

A team of 10 across two clinics only holds together if the people in it are backed. We pay for the certifications our therapists want, we protect the schedule so nobody is running two patients at once, and we keep our staff long enough that they know the town, the families and the work people go back to. Between them our therapists hold 9 to 20 years of clinical experience each. That is not a hiring cycle. That is a bench, and you feel the difference in the first ten minutes of an evaluation.

Patients

You are not a diagnosis on a schedule. You are one on one with your licensed physical therapist, start to finish. You are not handed off to an aide, and you are not shared across a gym floor while somebody counts your reps from across the room. We measure where you are on day one, re-measure as we go, and tell you honestly what the numbers say rather than what you want to hear. Most people notice the direction change well before they reach the finish.

Community

Abilene and Chapman are where we live, not just where we work. Since 2005 that has meant the same thing: treating the farmer, the lineman, the teacher and the kid on the Friday night roster in the same week, and knowing all four of them by name. We keep both clinics open, and staffed, so that nobody in this part of Kansas has to plan a day around driving to a city to get a shoulder looked at properly.
