Dr. Taci Wilson

DPT · Owner, Physical Therapist

Dr. Taci Wilson grew up in Towanda, Kansas, and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 2017. She joined Abilene Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab in 2024 at the Chapman location, became the owner in January 2026, and now treats patients at both the Abilene and Chapman clinics. Her clinical background runs through outpatient care and home health, which is a useful pairing. Outpatient work sharpens the hands-on examination. Home health teaches you what a stairway, a bathtub and a full laundry basket actually demand of a body. She also holds specialised training in women's health pelvic floor therapy, an area a lot of people are quietly told to accept as normal. It is not normal, and it is treatable. If you have been managing something for years because nobody looked closely, that is exactly the conversation she wants to have.

In Their Words
You should leave every visit knowing what is driving your symptoms and what we are doing about it. If I cannot explain the plan to you in plain language, it is not a good enough plan.

Core Values

What guides the work.

Two things shape how Taci practises. The first is measurement. You are examined properly on day one, the findings are written down, and they are re-measured as you go, so progress is something you can see rather than something you are asked to feel optimistic about. The second is access. Kansas direct access means most people can start physical therapy without a physician referral, and when a plan does require one, we check that before your first visit rather than after it. Your treatment is one on one with your therapist, start to finish. You are not handed to an aide or shared across a gym floor while your appointment runs down.

Outside the Clinic

Life beyond the treatment table.

Taci lives outside Enterprise, Kansas, with her husband Ryan and their two children, Thatcher and Rylinn. Family life in a small Kansas town shapes how she practises. The people on her schedule are neighbours, and a plan of care has to fit around work, school runs and everything else a real week contains. Not around an ideal patient with unlimited time and a quiet house.
