Exercise and Education Videos

Here is how it usually goes. You leave with a sheet of stick figures, you do the exercise at home the way you think it looked, and it does not work, because the version you are doing is not the version you were shown. Video fixes that. Not a wall of generic clips. Your movements, demonstrated the way your therapist actually wants them done.

01How We Use Video

Your program, shown the way you are meant to do it.

We are not going to stock this page with generic clips and call it a library, because generic clips are a large part of why home programs fail. What we do instead is simpler and works better. When your therapist gives you an exercise, they show you the movement, correct it while you are standing in front of them, and then record or send the demonstration for the specific movements in your plan so you are not rebuilding it from memory two days later at your kitchen counter.

Recorded for your program

The exercise you are given is the exercise you get on video. Same setup, same tempo, same cue your therapist kept repeating. Nothing pulled from a stock library that happens to share a name with your movement.

Just ask for it

Already a patient and the sheet has stopped making sense? Call the clinic and ask for the demonstration for your program. That is a normal request, not an imposition, and getting it right at home is most of the work.

Start with your condition

If you are still working out what is wrong, reading beats watching. Our condition pages explain what drives each problem and how physical therapy in Abilene addresses it, in plain language rather than clinical shorthand.

The questions we hear most

Referrals, insurance, what a first visit involves, how long recovery takes. Those answers are written out rather than filmed, because you can scan a page for the one line you needed and be done in a minute.

Good to Know

If a movement hurts when you do it at home, stop and call us before your next visit. A demonstration is worth more than another rep done wrong. (785) 263-3646 →
